Hey, I'm Ryan...

I've been at this for almost 25 years! When it comes to Firearm Tactics & Self Defense I've been fortunate enough to learn from some of the best in the world.


From Presidential Protection Teams while I was in the Military to being a Federal Law Enforcement Officer, to leading Fugitive Recovery Teams across the United States, I've had the honor of serving my country and my community.


In addition to a life of studying Martial Arts, I was trained by some of the best agencies and instructors in the world in some pretty cool categories: surveillance/countersurveillance, defensive tactics, and improvised weapons skills just to name a few. I was even lucky enough to compete and place in National Shooting Competitions.


These combined experiences have given me a clear understanding of the difference between training for competition, team, or unit environments, and especially for self defense as a civilian when you have no team, no armor, and no backup!



Over the past 25 years I've been a Combat Firearms Instructor having had the honor of teaching over 15K students, both civilians and law enforcement officers. I've been able to do all of this because I've always been surrounded by an amazing team of knowledgable, skilled, and generous instructors and students! Now, you have the opportunity to become a member of our club and train with us no matter what city you live in!


In our digital classroom you can learn and practice in your own home. If you're local or willing to travel, come out to our upcoming facility and train with us in person. Join us while we continue to build an awesome training grounds for our club members!


Now, in reality I'm a very humble person who understands that I am now and always will be a student! There are many others out there with a much larger and more impressive certification list than me. I'm ONLY sharing some of my credentials below to help you learn more about me so you can decide whether you'd like to train with us or not. Personality should also be a contributing factor when deciding on a Self-Defense Coach! No egos here! Our entire staff understands that we are all perpetual students! Oh and speaking of my staff...
